&& this stage was made for me
This is an activity that I think will be very useful, and help out many people get down those details that they don't quite grasp. You as the author of the character, has to talk to the character. You have to be sure you do what they want, not what you want. And, to get a better idea of your character, you will conduct an interview for this workshop.
You ask them questions about a detail that you are not so sure about, and you let them answer for themselves. Once this is done, you will probably have a better idea of you character. By the way, even people that have a good idea of their character, might want to try this. You might learn something about your character you didn't know before.
&& this is just a test
(Just an example of what to do for you guys. I used my character Cora.)
Me: Cora, what do you believe is one of the best things that you could possibly find in life?
Cora: Love I believe is overall the best things that you can find. Especially if it is from the person you know you will be with forever.
Me: What strikes you oddly about your mother, and why do you not talk to her much?
Cora: I believe it is because when I was younger I had such a hard time talking to other people over than my best friend that was there from the beginning. I tended to be picked on a lot, and my mother didn't seem to care enough about me then. Ever since I talked to my friends like they are my family. Don't get me wrong, I am very glad that she is my mom, but me just don't communate well.
Me: What's your favorite color?
Cora: A deep, passionate, royal purple.
(I think you get the idea.)
&& it's my final calling
Don't feel pressured to post your interview. If you would like it to be a thing between your character and you, that is fine by me. If you would like so share it though, you are very welcome to post a reply here.

Ho hum....So, I'm gonna try out this excersize....Prepare for very....random things.
FLASH, SPARKLE, SPOT LIGHT.
Cut to: The Boky show, hosted in OKC. (All there is is a large stage with a blue backdrop and in large letters 'THE BOKY SHOW.' On the stage two yellow arm chairs sitting at an angle beside each other.)
Boky: *enters in a blue and black tux while waving to the audience who are cheering* Thank you! Thank you! *sits in the yellow arm chair on the right* Welcome to the Boky show! Today we're having a special guest. Her name iiiissss...*drum roll* Hannah Z, Valentine!
Hannah: *enters and sits in the arm chair that's left of Boky* Um....Hi...*looks at the audience*
Boky: Hiya! Okay. To start off with the interview, why don't you give a brief introduction of yourself?
Hannah: Hi...I'm...Hannah...I rather be called Z though....
Boky: Z? Why?
Hannah: Well my middle name is Zoey...But....Z sounds cooler.
Boky: hm...It does. Soooo Z, I hear you don't have a job aye?
Hannah: I'm fifteen....So yeah...I don't have a job.
Boky: Ah...Same here. Well let me tell you, if I could get a job it would be at a pet shop. What about you?
Hannah: Probably at a Renaissance fair.
Boky: Why?
Hannah: Well, because you get to wear an awesome costume and talk in a funny accent the whole day without being judged.
Boky: *laughs* Ah well....No one likes to be judge am I correct?
Hannah: Well I don't really care. Let people think what they want.
Boky: So, what are your hobbies?
Hannah: I like to take pictures and make movies. That's my main two things.
Boky: So your good with a video camera?
Hannah: Yes. Although I don't go around posting videos on youtube like an idiot.
Boky: So...Do you want to become a camera person when you grow up?
Hannah: I'm not really sure what I want to be. Maybe a film director...
Boky: Ah...I see. So, what's your favorite color Z?
Hannah: *thinks* Hm...Yellow. Yellow and lime green.
Boky: Interesting. Mine is blue.
Hannah: *looks at Boky's tux* Uh...I can tell.
Boky: So what's your favorite band?
Hannah: Story of the year. And Thousand foot Krutch.
Boky: Nice choices! Hm...Do you have anyone special in your life?
Hannah: Heck no. Life is to short to waste on finding your 'one true love'. I have better things to do in school other then finding a boyfriend so I can show off.
Boky: That's a bit pessimistic.
Hannah: I'm not a pessimist. I'm a realist. I take things as they come, I'll be happy if it's something I hoped in, but I wont be disappointed if it doesn't happen. I just don't get my hopes too high. I mean we live to die right?
Boky: That's one way to look at it....*cough* morbidly *cough*
Hannah: Morbid or not, it's still the truth.
Boky: Well what about the war then? What's your thoughts on that?
Hannah: I don't know what to think about the war anymore. I'm angry, sad, confused....
Boky: Well which side are you on in the war?
Hannah: I don't have an answer for that either.
Boky: Hm....you sound a bit unorthodox to me.
Hannah: I believe in god...or at least I did....I don't know what to think anymore okay? I'm just broken up inside right now.
Boky: Oh. Sorry to be a bit nosy about that then.
Hannah: Whatever.....Are we done?
Boky: Well! That's all the time we have for today! See us again on the Boky show! END.
